This is the first time in aaaages I've bought new hardware, so I need to be careful Asrock A55M-VS AMD Fusion don't go overboard: I have access to copious amounts of liquid nitrogen and dry ice at the University, so I better not get my hands on a pot D David I bumped up the multiplier to 35x, just to see what would happen. It boots, and Core Temp says its 3. It runs Prime95 for 15 minutes on stress-test mode without crashing.

Only problem is Ubuntu is herpaderp because it tries using the Asrock A55M-VS AMD Fusion ati oss drivers which don't work, so you install CLI ubuntu, then ubuntu-desktop with xorg-server-vesa or whatever it's called driver Unigine benchmark, games in wine, slower than windows but runs well enough.
The drivers are still Asrock A55M-VS AMD Fusion.
IMO thats a big improvement over past performance. Immature drivers that are actually functional, vs fully developed drivers that still dont work right Bank Interleaving Interleaving allows memory accesses to be spread out over banks on the same node, or accross nodes, decreasing access contention.
